Instrumental Section Organ Adjudicator - Brian Fawcett MusB MA LRAM ARCO

Brian studied music at the University of Manchester and the Royal Manchester College of Music, taking an Organ performance degree having studied under Harold Dawber, Eric Chadwick and Allan Wicks.

After school appointments in Coventry and Bury he moved to (the then) Bulmershe College of Education, eventually becoming Head of Music. He is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Reading.

He has a strong interest in music theatre and has both directed / conducted several musicals, and composed incidental music for the professional theatre.

He has been based locally as an organist for many years and has worked in a number of churches and given several recitals.
