 About the Festival

Does a member of your family sing, play an instrument, or act?  The Woodley Festival of Music & Arts provides a warm and friendly environment to perform before a professional adjudicator and a supportive audience.

  • The festival is open to all – children and adults – individually, or with others.

  • Classes are  at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

  • There are sections for: Instrumental, Organ, Piano, Verse and Prose, and Vocal.

Although a competitive festival, we aim to emphasise the enjoyment of performance and appreciation of others’ efforts.

Nearly 5,000 people visited the Festival last year (see our archive), breaking all records. More than 1,600 of these were performers and there were 900 performances. Well over 50 volunteers are involved in running the Festival, co-coordinated by a small committee.

We all look forward to welcoming you to the next Woodley Festival.
